Ticks Affect Dogs and Cats

The blood-sucking parasites are carriers of some dangerous diseases. However, there are some persistent rumors about ticks.

One of the very popular ones says that ticks fall down like vultures from trees when they attack their victims. The reality is less spectacular: Most parasites pass unnoticed on bushes, shrubs and grasses and simply jump on the dogs and cats when they pass by.

Ticks are active from March to November and they can host one or more pathogens. Dogs are affected much more frequently than cats. The most significant risks are the Lyme disease and babesiosis, or the so-called "dog’s malaria."

Ticks are masters of disguise - at least initially

Few pet owners notice that their four-legged friend has an unwelcome visit immediately. A tick is tiny when it is not soaked with blood. Obviously, the fur of the four-legged friend is a great hiding place.

Ticks are often only noticed when they already have a considerable girth. But then quick action is needed both in dogs and in cats.

An infection is always possible

There is always the risk of transmission of infections with all blood-sucking parasites. The warming climate and common foreign travels by animal owners exacerbate the problem: more and more ticks are brought to the United States from southern countries. The carrying of diseases in the luggage was no problem in this country in the past. But how do you remove a tick? Different pieces of advice have been circulating over the years.

Is it useful to grease the fur before removing the tick?

One of the more radical pieces of advice is to grease the coat with oil or gas prior to removing the tick. This way, the tick goes out of breath, its mouth parts loosen and thus it is easier for you to remove it – at least in theory.

This "special treatment" has a catch: The tick is put under massive stress. This may mean that it secretes more saliva. Also, smaller amounts of blood from its stomach go back into the bloodstream of the quadruped.

That means: If the tick carries pathogens, the risk of transmission to the four-legged friend is increased drastically. Therefore, this method is not advisable.

Pulling out vs. twisting

Many people do not know whether they should pull the ticks out or rotate them. It is important to know that ticks do not "screw" in the skin. They have barbs on the sting apparatus and release a special adhesive before they "dock." So they use two strategies to anchor themselves firmly to the skin.

The answer is: You can both pull out the tick or twist it to remove it from the skin of the animal. Florian Reese, expert veterinarian, says: "It is not the method that is important, but that the tick is removed completely."

But that also means that there is always a residual risk that parts of the mouth parts remain in the skin with the two methods.

Tips for successful tick removal

Of course, you can use a simple pair of tweezers. However, it is much more convenient to use special instruments, such as ticks hooks, tick pliers or tick cards. You can order these instruments on an online pet store or you can buy them from the vet.

Regardless of which instrument you prefer, it is important that you fix it as close to the skin as possible. This is the best way to prevent any mouthparts from remaining stuck into the skin. You can even blot the spot if you want and you think this helps.

However, removing the tick successfully does not mean that no pathogens have been transmitted. You should consult a veterinarian and tell him about the ticks if your pet presents any behavioral problems or disease symptoms.

Prevention is even better

It is advisable to check out your four-legged for ticks after going on trips. Anyway, you should take precautions and use a tick repellent. For example, you can buy a tick collar for your pet. Or you can apply a so-called spot-on preparation. Following a recommendation by the American Association of Small Animal Medicine and the Federation of Practicing Veterinarians, dogs should be treated from spring to late fall. Actually, they should be treated all year round.

Equally recommended

You can ask the vet what treatment your four-legged friend should pursue. You can also learn about specific disease-protective vaccines.

Tournaments of Poker Aggression or Prudence

Is it better to take risks and "mount chips" or play tight and wait safely for a beautiful hand when playing in No Limit Hold'em tournaments? The answer is both simple and complicated because it depends! The key is to know what is better in each situation... The master theorist Dan Harrington, world champion in 1995, wrote three volumes (the "Harrington on Hold'em" series) on how to be successful in a tournament. These books contain all the pros and cons of the two strategies.

First of all, you must consider the initial stack and the blind structure. It is not the same to start with 1,000 chips or with 10,000 chips, just like it is not the same if the blinds increase every 5 minutes or every hour.

image of poker.
Let’s take a first example: a "Sit and Go" on the internet. These tournaments are played among 8 or 10 players and the first 3 are paid. One starts with, let’s say, 1,500 chips and the blinds increase every 5 minutes. The right strategy is to play tight early and then widen the selection range for the starting cards according to the blinds. You also have to be very selective and play "hard" when you arrive "on the bubble", that is to say when there are only four players and the first 3 are paid. Once you are "in the money area", you have to be aggressive all the way!

Here is a second example: a live tournament like an EPT event. Your starting stack is 10,000 and the blinds start at 25-50 and increase every 60 minutes. This is very different because you have more time to build your capital. What many players believe, the idea is not to "mount chips" at all costs at first. A "make or break" strategy can be extremely effective early in the tournament if you have a large pile of chips, but everything will be challenged within hours when the blinds are much higher. Poker tournaments strategies vary from player to player and their isn't a good/bad strategy. So patience and a reasonable amount of aggressiveness are required. It is all about commitment, but you have to know when to be brave. Obviously, the more the blinds increase, the more aggressive you have to be and find good positions to steal the blinds. This is the general pattern, which must be adjusted depending on how things go in the first rounds of the tournament.

So you need to calculate what Harrington calls "M" at any time. M is the number of rounds of blinds you have on your mat. For example, if the blinds are 50-100 and your carpet is 1,500, each round you do not play is equal to 10. If the blinds are 600-1200 with a 100 ante bet and there are eight players at the table, each turn costs you 2,600. If your stack is 15,000, your M is just under 6. Knowing your M at any time, the tactics to be applied are the following:

- M greater than or equal to 20: You are in the comfort zone. Select your hands calmly. There is no urgency to risk your stack on a draw or a mediocre hand.

- M between 10 and 20: All is well again. But do not fall asleep.

- M between 5 and 10: You are in danger. You must take risks without waiting. Do not panic though.

- M 5 or less: You are in the red zone, so full sail! Go all in right away. Yes, this is risky, but as they say, "Whoever takes risks wins".

Remember, your M sometimes has nothing to do with the average number of chips in the tournament. This average, which is the most commonly used benchmark, does not matter much. If you are first, you are well above the average. But it all depends on your M: do not rest on your laurels if it is less than 10 and be willing to take risks! In practice, always try to multiply your chips if you are in trouble (M less than 5) and feel free to do so with mediocre and average hands, too. Do not wait for AA, KK or even AJ or AQ hands because your carpet will be even lower when these hands come (and even if they come). Therefore, AX, JX or QX are not too bad in these cases and neither is a J10 hand, together with a 9 and 8... These are the "Come what may!" hands.

In reversing the argument, if you are the big blind and you have a decent hand like A-10 or JQ, you must pay because there is a good chance that you have the best hand! Well, good luck or rather have a good M...!

Everything about Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2 or riboflavin is a water soluble vitamin which is not stored by the body. Its actions are at the level of metabolism and nutrient absorption. It is also important for the eyes, skin and hair.

The vitamin that was later called vitamin B2 was isolated by two researchers in 1932, Warburg and Christian. Then, it was synthesized by Karrer in 1935. Its scientific name is riboflavin. The actions of vitamin B2 revolve around two main roles:

- Energy release from food, so metabolism of nutrients

- The maintenance of the skin, eyes, nails and hair.

The definition of vitamin B2

Vitamin B2, also called riboflavin or lactoflavin, is a water soluble vitamin sensitive to air and light. It can be synthesized by the body in small quantities, but it is not stored by it, so it must be taken from food every day.
The scientific name of vitamin B2, riboflavin, comes from the association of "ribose" (= a sugar with 5 carbon atoms) and the Latin root "flavus", which means yellow - the color of this vitamin. The presence of a molecule of ribose in its chemical composition makes it a vitamin. Thus, if you replace it by another sugar, its vitamin activity disappears. Riboflavin or lactoflavin or simply vitamin B2 is a crystalline yellow-green fluorescent powder with a slight odor and bitter taste. This vitamin is water soluble, but its solubility in water is not very high. It is heat resistant, so it can resist to cooking in that it does not melt and is not destroyed until 285 ° C are reached. It also withstands freezing, but its decomposition is accelerated by UV light and alkalis (or bases, the main ones being soda, potash and ammonia). Therefore, toddler vitamin B2 should be kept in sealed flask and should be protected from light. In humans, it is synthesized by the intestinal flora, but the quantity produced by the latter is insufficient to cover the daily needs of the body, so it must be taken from food and/or supplements daily. It is easily absorbed from the small intestine, then it is widely distributed in the tissues, but little is stored. The excess vitamin B2 is excreted in the urine (colored in yellow), partly as metabolites.

The properties of vitamin B2

Vitamin B2 has many properties, but its main roles can be summarized as follows: it acts on the release of energy from nutrients provided by food and on maintaining the beauty and health of the skin, eyes and hair.
Vitamin B2 has many properties. It plays great roles in the functioning of the body.
vitamin b2
Here is the list of properties of vitamin B2

- Vitamin B2 plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins, allowing the production of energy.

- It is present in the body in the form of two coenzymes: FAD (flavin adenine dinucleotide) and FMN (flavin mononucleotide), which both act as hydrogen acceptors. Their joint action with the enzyme allows the oxidation of glucose and thus the energy release.

- Vitamin B2 plays a role in the cellular respiration mechanisms, a set of reactions in which fuels are degraded in the food inside the cells.

- It is also a component of amino acids.

- It is found in many organs, particularly in the retina, where it is involved in the phenomenon of vision and promotes vision in the semi-darkness.

- It ensures the growth of children.

- It plays a role in maintaining the health of the skin, hair (it acts on the elasticity and strength of keratin) and nails.

- Vitamin B2 increases the body's resistance to cold.

- It is essential for the nerve function and for the proper functioning of the brain.

Therapeutic tips and indications

Here is some additional guidance on the use of vitamin B2 and its therapeutic indications, that is to say the cases when your doctor may prescribe vitamin B2 to treat a disorder.

The efficacy of vitamin B2 is enhanced when combined with other B vitamins as well as with magnesium in food supplements. As it happens with other B vitamins, vitamin B2 supplements (e.g. beflavine) are absorbed better when taken during a meal. Vitamin B2 also contributes to the use of iron. Vitamin B2 is used as yellow food coloring under the name of E101.

Therapeutic indications on vitamin B2

Vitamin B2 may be prescribed by your doctor in the following cases:
- Eye disorders: conjunctivitis, corneal vascularization, accommodation disorders, night blindness (loss of night vision), cataracts

- Skin disease: cheilitis (inflammation of the lips), angular cheilitis (cracked corners of the mouth), stomatitis, facial seborrhea, nail dystrophy

- Gastrointestinal disorders: chronic enteritis

- General disorders: muscle cramps, headaches, no weight gain in children, asthenia.

Boiler Fueled by Wood

This article tackles the following topics:

The firewood boiler

Boilers for heating only

Boilers for domestic hot water (separate)

Versatility

A wood boiler produces heat from firewood. The important advantage of wood and wood energy is that it is renewable, abundant, cheap and usable.

Wood burning is now considered the source of energy of the future due to the development of high efficiency wood-fired boilers. Wood is also used by some cogeneration plants to produce electricity and heat. Yields higher than 65% qualify for the Green Flame label and are rewarded with grants and subsidies. Fuel wood is now called "NF firewood" and the heating installers operating on this principle meet professional standards of quality.

Firewood boilers

Wood boilers can be installed only on the ground and have cast iron or steel radiators.

Wood boilers with cast iron heater

Firewood boilers are used primarily for heating. They distribute heat through the central heating system and have a domestic hot water tank. Several innovations have been made in the field of wood boilers in recent years. The most significant would be the replacement of fan-assisted combustion with natural draft, the clear separation of the primary air from the secondary air, the improvements in terms of control (variable speed systems with valves and oxygen sensors), the doubling of the autonomy by the enlargement of the storage compartment and the reduction of radiation losses.

Wood boilers use logs of different types:

Traditional combustion boilers: The wood is introduced and the entire load burns simultaneously. These boilers are controlled by a chain. The yield of these devices ranges between 40 and 60%.

The investment is lower with these types of boilers. Irregular combustion is difficult to control and there are risks of tarring. The autonomy is low. The establishment of a buffer tank is recommended for the improvement of the device.

Horizontal or inverted combustion boilers: The wood chamber is separated from the combustion chamber. The air supply is optimized and it is regulated by a chain. The yields of these devices range between 50 and 70%. These boilers have an average battery life. The establishment of a buffer tank is recommended for the improvement of the device.

Inverted fan-assisted combustion boilers: The wood chamber is separated from the combustion chamber. The air supply is regulated and optimized through fans. The yields of these devices range between 70 and 85%. These boilers have a controlled combustion and a good battery life. The establishment of a buffer tank is required. The investment is relatively high.

Firewood boilers with hot water accumulation: The use of a buffer tank is particularly interesting with all types of wood boilers. This system improves the operation, performance and lifetime of the device. The heating needs are well below the boiler output throughout much of the year. The boiler operates at suitable parameters thanks to the storage tank. This wood boiler can provide hot water, too. The boiler filling can be reduced to 1-3 loads per day.

Heating boilers

There are specific models designed for heating only. However, the production of domestic hot water can be forced by the addition of a special preparer.

There are firewood heating boilers with cast iron radiators. These boilers have domestic hot water accumulation.

There are also firewood boilers for heating and domestic hot water separately equipped with steel radiators.

Some models can be equipped with an oil or gas burner, which comes into play when the wood supply has been exhausted.

How to Choose the Best Hair Product for You

When it comes to taking care of your hair, nothing but the best should be chosen like the Bumble & Bumble care products, which are quite popular. The range of products from Bumble & Bumble includes shampoos, styling gels, crèmes, conditioners, and many more for all types of and issues. There are uncountable hair products making unbelievable claims in the market, but choosing the right one can be a tough task.

Selecting the correct product will definitely benefit and help in maintaining your hair for a much longer time. It is a very important part of the personality and beauty of a person and can also change the perception of the people who look at you. Great looking hair also needs the best products to keep them healthy. Choosing the correct product for the largely depends on the type of hair that one has. Some general tips for this are as follows:

beauty.Identify the type of hair you have whether it is oily, dry, or normal. This will help in identifying the right category of product for the hair. Products with more natural ingredients are always better for the scalp and the hair. They help in maintaining the moisture, improve the overall hair texture, and make them strong and healthy.

Shampoo is the most important hair product which helps in cleaning the hair. Avoid choosing the one which has harsh chemicals and sulphates which can damage the hair by making them dry and they will then tend to break easily. Choose the one which has moisturizing ability so that it can avoid the hair from becoming dry and frizzy.

Conditioners are also very important for the hair, especially after using a shampoo. Choose a conditioner which contains proteins and protects the hair from any damage. They also moisturize the hair and vary again depending on the hair type and status, that is, colored or permed hair.

For those who love to sunbath or expose their bodies more in the sun, choosing the right hair cream is also essential to protect the hair from damage from the UV radiations. So, choose a cream which will moisturize as well as protect the hair from damage through the sun protection factor (SPF).

Also, remember that hair varies from one person to another. A product which is great for your friend's hair may not be suitable for you. Always make effort to identify the type of hair and if there is any damage done to the condition of the hair already. The products to be used will vary accordingly. For damaged hair, there might be many products available for treatment to get back its health and shine, like Bumble & Bumble hair powder or deep treatment product.

Popular Slots Jack Vegas

Jack Vegas is probably the most popular game in Sweden. Jack Vegas requires a very small bet, 1-5 USD, but this can be turned into a gain of 500 USD. These slots are located in bars and restaurants and are available online in similar versions. The distribution of the machines and the games are always supervised. CasinoEuro, for instance, offers a game that is very similar to the original Jack Vegas.

Jack Vegas games and prizes

Jack Vegas machines are special as they offer several different types of games. You can choose from video poker, video slots and slot machines, which are actually the same as video slots. Jack Vegas machines are easy to find in a normal-sized Swedish town because they are found at over 2,000 locations around the country. Surprisingly, almost 90% of the young inhabitants of Sweden play Jack Vegas, which is a very high figure.

Suffice to say that you only need 1 to 5 dollars to play Jack Vegas and you get the chance to win 500 USD. It is quite clear for a normal person that this is not the sort of game you play to get rich. Jack Vegas is not about winning money but about having fun. The machines serve as a fun supplement in bars or restaurants. It is not the idea to go down to the local bar, buy a Coke, sit there for the rest of the evening and press the buttons on the Jack Vegas machine.

The problems with Jack Vegas

Unfortunately, Jack Vegas is associated with adolescents who suffer from gambling addiction. What has happened is that the game has become so accessible that it has been difficult to stop those who should not be playing it. There are still many people who should not be playing this machine despite the numerous measures taken in restaurants and bars. All Jack Vegas machines are connected to a network and the gaming activities are closely followed by the Swedish games and lottery inspection.

It is important to understand how the machine works and keep a perspective in terms of money if you want to play on Jack Vegas machines a bit more than customary. As a rule of thumb, you should always decide how much money you can afford to invest in the game before you go out and then stick to that budget. You can play Jack Vegas online and you should regard it as a regular slot machine, but remember that the profit is not as high as in slot machines.

Fun and useful

It is fun to play jackpot slots like Jack Vegas, which is why even the most experienced players keep playing it. Those who only play such games every now and then have the opportunity to combine a restaurant visit with some excitement for a small amount of money. It is also worth pointing out that the game is beneficial from a social point of view. This machine has actually been encouraged by the youth and sports associations in Sweden. They claimed that this machine is extra fun to play even if you do not win anything.

Tips on Fitness and Pregnancy

What are the main expectations of mothers?

Weight control and to avoid weight gains greater than 13-14 pounds;

Avoidance of back problems;

Fortification of the abdomen;

Increased resistance and resilience;

Achievement of relaxation and energy (a good feeling about their body and head);

Prevention of varicose veins and cramps by improving the circulation;

Prevention of pain by improving the posture;

Strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles for an easier delivery;

Breathing and concentration exercises to relieve stress and tension;

More control over their bodies and their emotions.

Women can also train at home, which is a very good solution when they cannot move very easily anymore!

What other benefits do pregnant women have?

All women want a training program tailored to their demands and needs especially at this time. They need their questions and wishes to be heard. An individualized home training program can relax them and eliminate some of the concerns related to their pregnancy and the use of birthing balls.

The weather conditions and transportation are not a problem anymore. Thus, they save time and money. Also, they do not feel the extra pounds they gain during pregnancy.

What simple exercises can you do at home on weekends? Do they vary depending on the stage of pregnancy?

Starting to train from the first quarter would be the best way to prevent low back pain, stiffness and poor posture but this is not always easy because most women experience nausea. The first quarter is the most important because this is the time when the baby practically “forms”. Then, the 2nd quarter is an ideal time to do physical activity because the hormones are a little more stable and the woman is more euphoric yet exhausted by the weight of the baby. Finally, the belly gets bigger in the 3rd quarter. More than ever, it is imperative to do the exercises in a ventilated and quiet room for better oxygenation! The woman must warm up and rest between the exercises. Moreover, she should listen to her body because it might get tired very quickly when exercise balls are used.

Some exercises to do at home

Straighten the spine and the pelvic area. Sit on the floor, feet up and parallel, spine straight and inhale and let your belly expand. Exhale by tightening the pelvic area (as if you had the urge to urinate or experienced bowel movement) for 3 seconds and then relax it for 5 seconds. Repeat this exercise for 1 to 5 minutes once a day.
Tone the thighs, buttocks and perineum. Keep the feet slightly apart and parallel, the shoulders down, the neck stretched and keep a soft ball or cushion between your knees. Contract your gluteal muscles and then lower your back. Repeat this exercise by contracting the pelvic area and squeezing the ball.

Relieve the perineum. Keep a pillow under your head, slightly raise the pelvis and place a rolled towel under your buttocks so that the perineum is facing up. Close your eyes and enjoy this moment of relaxation.
You can also use a large Swiss ball for the relaxation exercises. Keep your legs on the ball.

When is the best time to get back to sports after childbirth? You can get birthing balls instead and use them as exercise balls.

You should resume your sporting activity after about 2.5 months. You should make no effort after a vaginal delivery or a caesarean section. You must resume your sporting activity intelligently. Pilates helps the body to recover gradually.
Important: Do the tests and start the pelvic muscle training 6-8 weeks after childbirth before resuming your physical activity to avoid complications and urinary incontinence.

Advice: You may continue your sporting activity until your postnatal leave if everything goes well during your pregnancy! This could actually do you a lot of good and limit your weight gain.

The delivery is a great sporting event so you had better be prepared especially when you deliver your first baby! However, the result is a delight!

Aqua-gym/Swimming

You can do water aerobics and take yoga classes and you will feel a lot better. These activities are not expensive and they are very easy to practice. You should take up these sports towards the end of your pregnancy. Wear a bathing cap and shoes when you go to the basin in order not to slip. You may be exposed to mycoses, so you should take all the precautions you can.

What sports did you practice during your pregnancy? What activities/places would you recommend?

The Kitchen in a House and on Camping

Anyone who rents a house in order to spend the time with young people should fall back on the same kitchen equipment as the one they have at home. Everything should be available from a small spoon to a large saucepan. At home, you are used to having everything within reach. However, the situation is different when you have to bring your own kitchen utensils. Then starts the great planning. The better equipped the kitchen, the better you can cook and the more food options you have. Most kitchens are equipped with an electric or gas stove.

First of all, in order to enjoy cooking you need cups, plates in different sizes, small bowls for salads or dessert as well as egg cups, egg spoons, spoons, forks and knives. You also need some salad servers, salad bowls, but also measuring cups and mixing bowls in different sizes. Butter dishes, cutting boards, meat and bread knives, spatulas, whisks and screens in different sizes are also useful. Then, there is the coffee maker or the coffee pot with coffee filters and the teapot with a strainer. You may also need a lemon squeezer, depending on how you do your cooking. Plastic boxes and bulk containers are also very important in a kitchen.
In the kitchen, you need to read the how to grill book in order for you to know how to grill vegetables.

You also need pots and pans in different sizes and maybe even an egg cooker in order to cook properly. Even a toaster can be useful at times. You should also have a separate bulk box for flour and sugar. Salt and pepper can be stored in jars or pepper mills. Other spices are usually available in corresponding recipients. Thus, they can be dosed properly.

The more intense and attentive you are when it comes to the kitchen equipment, the better you can cook. In addition to this, you will feel safer if you are prepared. You should always make sure that nobody gets injured in your kitchen. Check the cooking utensils to see if they are safe. This includes the sharpness of the blades of knives and so on. People should be safe in your kitchen whether they are there to help you with the cooking or not. Therefore, it is important that you check every little tool in the kitchen. Not only knives can cause injuries, but also cracked glasses or plates with broken corners.

You need to be careful in the kitchen and know how to grill vegetables safely. The how to grill book can help a lot.

Transport and storage boxes

The transport and storage of food are important kitchen-related matters. Food must be stored properly and hygienically and cooled if necessary. Protection against pests and mice must also be considered. Therefore, comprehensive and well-lockable storage chests are also needed.

Make sure that the food is packaged clearly and thereby also close at hand. The foods that require refrigeration require special attention.

You must keep everything in mind from Tupperware for butter, sausage and cheese, plastic stacking boxes with lids for bread, vegetables and used packs to large metal shipping boxes for cans and other foods. It is important that the respective transport containers are trimmed properly before the food is transported in them.
Water and airtight containers are needed if the food needs to be cooled in water or buried before being consumed.

Refrigeration may be required for longer trips (or frozen plastic water bottles) to ensure cooling during transportation.

Material list

For camping:
A large pot (30-50 liters)

2 large horde pots (10 liters)

2 small pots (1-5 liters)

1 large pan

Gas bottles

1-2 large gas cooker(s)

2 small gas stoves (tripod)

3-4 manifold pressure regulator

A lighter

2-3 table sets

1 bail

2-3 ladles

Crates

Brushes

Cleaning products

Sponges

Measuring cups

Funnel

Water tanks/canisters

Can openers

Garbage bags

Aluminum foil

A whisk

A knife

Plastic bowls

Tupperware

Scourer

Kitchen towels

A dressing case

Burn ointment

Patches
Materials needed on trips:
1 pan for 10 people (a 5-liter pot)

1 small pot

2-3 small camping gas stoves and replacement cartridges

A can opener

A lighter

A small sponge

2 Tupperware boxes

A sharp knife

What is available?

The kitchen equipment must always be checked. You should take a look around the kitchen in the leisure house to see if you need to bring any kitchen utensils or if you need any cooking facilities. It is annoying to plan a menu and not be able to cook it because of a lack of equipment.

Check whether the gas stoves and the utensils are in order when you go hiking or camping. Make replacements if necessary.

The Purpose of a Dog Health Insurance

Animal health insurance - 75 percent of dogs and 88 percent of cat lovers have never been closer to the subject of animal health insurance. This is the finding of a study conducted by the market research firm GfK in 2011.

There is still much unmet demand, which can be covered with new products. This is the conclusion of the insurer. There are some providers such as Agila that have specialized in dog health insurance. In the end, most dog owners wonder what the purpose of this type of insurance is.

Costs with health insurance

Here is a concrete example: a not so common stomach-turning surgery on a Golden Retriever is estimated at 2000 EUR. Then, detoxification after rat poison ingestion costs about 540 EUR. Also, dogs often suffer injuries after colliding with motorists. Chronic diseases are also quite costly. A simple calculation shows that a full dog insurance policy with 20 percent equity participation starts at 27 EUR a month for dogs and 15 EUR a month for cats. The costs may reach 42 EUR, depending on the breed, age and coverage areas.

According to the same study, every seventh dog had already undergone surgery. This is an impressive number, but there is no way to assess the type of operation and its costs. The study also pointed out also that the vet fees had increased by twelve percent as compared to the previous year.

The long-term costs associated with petting cannot be overestimated. Here is a quick example: there may be an accident - the dog is hit by a car and needs surgery. Medical treatment may also be necessary. Any unforeseen accident can turn into an exceptional financial burden. Sometimes, pets with no health insurance may need to find a way to afford medical interventions in the short term. Therefore, pet owners must be prepared all the time. Meanwhile, there are online credit markets which offer private loans for people who need funds for their dogs. While these are extreme cases, every dog owner should think of their own health and try to do the same for their dog.

The City of Sin Will Soon Arrive in Europe

The situation in Las Vegas is far from rosy at the moment. The number of players has decreased considerably and the Chinese gambling Mecca Macau has outrun the heart of gambling in Nevada already.

Vegas is expected to have to face another competitor called Europe in the next years. In concrete terms, the Euro Vegas Casino at the border between Hungary and Austria promises to have a significant say. Of course, it will not cover the wide range of opportunities as Las Vegas casinos, but it will still have a consistent and attractive offer. You can play with the best online casino and fruit machines available.

This unique entertainment center will cover an area of 335 hectares. There will be this huge "event center" with a surface of 5,000 square meters, more than 630 hotel rooms, a huge spa center, restaurants and bars and a number of gambling venues. One of them will house 3,000 machines and 200 tables.

This mega project costs almost five billion Euros. The choice of the location of this rip-off casino could not be more inspired. It will be located at the crossroads of the railway road and the highway and has a separate exit. The project also includes a railway station, which will be built in the next few years.

The location of this casino is the best as Bratislava is 35 kilometers away, Vienna is 77 km away and Budapest is 171 km away. There are also two international airports nearby.

The project spokesman suggested that this company would become the Eldorado of Central Europe. It will have the best online casino and fruit machines for the players.

Whether its success will be as impressive as hoped for is still an open question. The construction of this mammoth project started last spring. The Austrian businessman Assamer had the stroke of genius to acquire this outstanding area. However, he did not know what to do with this gigantic area at first.

The plan to build a casino and compete with Las Vegas only came later. The entertainment center is inspired from "Hard Rock", which can be found in almost every major city in Europe. This is where "Hard Rock" cafes are inspired from. The same businessman would like to build a hotel, a casino and a nightclub next year.

Four separate casinos and poker rooms will be built in the coming years, as well as a large-scale open air arena, which will be used for concerts. So Euro Vegas will most definitely be a successful entertainment center and a popular destination for weekend trips and short breaks.

Families are attracted with this project. According to the spokesman, they can stay there the entire weekend, go to shows and play when the children are no longer up. The planners and leaders of the company reveal their plans and provide information for the curious on their website.

Buying Guide on Projectors

This article offers you a selection of projectors and a discussion on the selection criteria. Only five products have managed to impress specialized websites with limited space, so this article only takes into consideration the best offers.

DLP versus LCD

Today, both technologies hold the upper hand and compete against each other. Each camp has its ardent defenders. DLP supporters pledge for "deep black", "more intense colors" and "better color fastness over time", while supporters of the LCD technology respond with "the no rainbow effect", "more color thus better degradation" and "finer overall appearance".

Here is the bottom line: Choose the DLP technology if you are sensitive to the rainbow effect. If you are not, choose between the two types of technology according to your tastes. No current technology can satisfy all customers.
Your TV is too small and you want to enter the world of real home theater? Welcome to this buyer's guide dedicated to video projectors. You can compare a number of products and then choose the one that meets your needs.

Before you make that comparison, here are some techniques that will help you if you are a beginner in this domain. If you already know all the jargon, you can skip directly to the selection of models.

What are 100 Hz and 200 Hz projectors? Are there perfectly smooth projectors?

This is a complex topic, but the main idea is the following: Contrary to many misconceptions, the 100 Hz projector has nothing to do with the fluidity of the film. The confusion stems from the fact that the 100 Hz projector also thins the films. The 100 Hz projector limits the ghosting effect when fast movements are performed. On the other hand, the afterglow is imperceptible with 200 Hz projectors. The persistence of the headlamps has always been minimal in this case.

So do not mistake the 100 Hz and 200 Hz projectors for Motionflow (Sony), HDNM (HD Natural Motion Philips), Movie Plus (Samsung) or TruMotion (LG), which are systems that eliminate all defects by calculating the intermediate images from the original film. These systems are essential for those who are allergic to the slightest twitches. There is often a repellent video effect, but this effect can always be removed. Those who want to achieve the greatest performance should purchase a projector with such a function. Finally, 120 Hz (or more) is necessary but not sufficient to watch TV in 3D mode.

 What is 3D?

Accessible to individuals ever since 2009, 3D allows one to watch movies in relief, as its name suggests. Those who missed the launch of this phenomenon at the end of 2009 can look into the success of the film AVATAR 3D.

Summary - Everything you need to know about 3D

Only few projectors are compatible with the 3D mode. They are required to operate at a frequency of at least 100 Hz to be compatible with the 3D mode. Beware though! Not all projectors operating at 100 Hz or more are automatically compatible with the 3D mode. Also keep in mind that 3D is still increasing in popularity and there are also few Blu-ray offers, so to speak. The Blu-ray format must also be compatible with the 3D mode. As for TV shows, some satellite channels announce the arrival of 3D programs for this year.

Finally, remember that you must wear special glasses to watch TV in 3D mode. Therefore, you will need to buy a pair of such glasses if you want to try this experience.

HD Ready Definition versus Full HD

An HD ready video projector displays at least 720 lines, while a full HD projector displays at least 1,080 lines. 1,080 lines is precisely the definition used by the HDTV and Blu-ray. Therefore, you should opt for this type of projector to enjoy the quality of HD!

1,080 line projectors are recommended, especially since they are very affordable now. The models with a definition of 720 lines tend to disappear gradually.

Should you believe what the manufacturers say?

You can simply ignore the contrast figures announced by manufacturers. They are calculated as to maximize the contrast but they are far from the ideal conditions in which you should watch a movie. For example, the contrast of a projector of 80,000:1 falls to about 500 to 1000:1 once all the settings have been made. Rely on your own measurements instead because it is safer.

Electric Bikes For you

An electric bike is for all intents and purposes a normal everyday bicycle that has been equipped with an electric motor to assist in its propulsion. These motors are, limited by Federal Law, to 750 watts of power and 20 miles per hour top speed. Most electric bikes are built to meet that specification but some do exceed them. Electric bicycles can be built from kits for around $500 to $800 dollars or purchased new for between $400 to $3500 dollars. As with any product and especially a vehicle, you usually get what you pay for. Electric bicycles are powered by a rechargeable battery(s), and the average range is around 20 miles. The range can vary greatly depending on the weight of the bike and rider, wheel size, style of riding and terrain. They come in a wide variety of styles and sizes from small electric folding bikes with 16 and 20-inch wheels for commuters and apartment dwellers to 28 inch and 700c sizes. Electric bicycles require no licenses or insurance to operate but many states do have age limitations. The most common type of motor used in electric bikes is a hub motor. These can be used on either the front or rear wheels and do not require chains, belts or gears. Essentially the motor is the hub of the wheel and contains two concentric rings of opposing electromagnets. When power from the battery is applied to the motor the opposing magnetic force causes the wheel to spin. This type of motor is almost completely silent and requires no maintenance. The higher the wattage of the motor, the more power it provides. One caveat however. There is no standard for measuring wattage. Many marketers of these products use their peak output numbers as opposed to the operating output numbers. A motor rated at 1000 watts peak may be a 500-watt motor in its standard operating output. Be sure to find out which. Only standard operating output is truly comparable.

powered bikes
Batteries are also very important in regards to these products. The most common battery sealed lead acid (SLA) is the least expensive and provides the highest amp hours (ah). However, SLA batteries weigh three times what a lithium battery does and last less than a third as long. A Lithium LiFePO4 battery is the most expensive battery and has low ah, but is by far the lightest weight and longest lasting. You would have to purchase, install, and dispose of 12 12volt SLA batteries before you come close to the life span of one 48 volt LiFePO4 battery. Nickel cadmium and other batteries fall somewhere in between. A lightweight lithium battery usually slides out of the battery rack for easy recharge indoors rather than having to locate an outlet in which to plug the whole bike. Lithium batteries are by far the most ecologically friendly of all the batteries available. The electric bikes built from kits are quite often your best bet in terms of price and performance. Most of the bicycles that people already own are superior machines to many of those that have been designed as electric bikes. If you choose your kit carefully you will get a more powerful motor, better battery, and many other features that you cannot find on a factory built bike and your converted bike will often weigh less. A good kit should have the motor pre built into a wheel (a front wheel kit is much easier to install), dual brake motor cutoff, a twist or thumb throttle, a motor controller, wiring harness, and a battery mounting rack with a lock mechanism. A really good kit will also have wiring diagrams, mounting hardware, wire ties and complete instructions. Very expensive factory built electric bicycles tend to look more like motorcycles, are very heavy and hard to pedal but go no faster or farther than an inexpensive bike or kit built bike. They do look cool though! Also, you will want to purchase your kit from someone who will be able to help you through the installation process in the remote case that you have a question or problem. If you are going to convert your existing bicycle, be sure that it is good operating condition and if you are going to build a bike from a kit of 500 watts or more, use a bike with a steel front fork. Very powerful front wheel motors can pull free from or damage aluminum and suspension forks. You do not require a lot of gearing in an electric bicycle unless you are going to use it as a mountain bike. For street bikes, six or seven gears are more than sufficient. If you choose to buy a factory built bike, find one you able to completely control, feel comfortable riding and that has all of the options you are looking for.

The spa selection is huge as you separate the wheat from the chaff

Spas are available in different shapes and sizes. Many have contoured seats and chairs allow a full stretching in the spa. We encourage you to look at many different types before you decide on a model. You should even sit inside a spa, even if there is no water in it to know what feels best for you. The spa of your dreams is just as important as the actual basic configuration options. Without complete standard equipment as a "bargain", it is fast becoming as the sham.

Ozonator and 24 Circulation: An ozonator helps fight bacteria and germs in the form of ozone gas O 3. You need this technical device significantly with less water care products and more information on  water treatment . The 24 baby-circulation pump caused significantly less noise and operating costs than conventional, 2 - stage recirculation.

Good insulation: Most spas, due to cost spray only on the tub bottom thinly with insulating foam. In warm regions, the isolation of this type, is not responsible ecologically and economically. In addition to good insulation value of a fully foamed outdoor spa, it causes less noise in operation. It also gives an alternative to insulating acrylic trays with a particularly thick plastic coating which provides a special insulating linings with good values.

Tip: Make sure to observe the condition of the spa floor, cold and moisture is known to come from below. Only a few manufacturers use this specially designed floor pans. It is protected by a kind of built in shell of the home spa.

Our spas have the following basic features:

Tested and certified insulation system

Foldable insulating cover at least 10cm thick

Ozonator circulation in conjunction with 24

Skimmer filter

Balboa or Gekko heating control

LED light therapy

protective base tray
Tip: Consider the model in your choice of brand name products which only have their own "brand" and act accordingly to the outside. Sustainable thinking and manufacturing show you what they have. They cannot be called as the manufacturer. Usually, a cheap inexperienced producers are behind. Our vendor links can be found.
As I look around for my spa?

A spa is not a decision to buy. What should be done quickly and under pressure? Finally, you will spend a quality spa with the equivalent of one occasion. Set the respective dealers for a lot of questions. As with all purchases of expertise, it is the most important.
picture of spa.
Here is a checklist of criteria to be observed:

What material is the trough? Are the high stress points reinforced?

What material is the enclosure? How to care for this?

Can you choose from different colors and shapes?

What makes a visual impression of the spa to you?

Is the housing well insulated?

Does the spa have a final plastic bottom?

How loud are the jets and pump?

Is there any help (lift) for lifting the lid? (For older or vulnerable people)

Are there any accessories, such as where to get? (Staircase)

For how many concurrent users of the spa it is really suitable?

Can you determine the number of nozzles and place?

Are the nozzles capable of a customer-specific hydro-massage?

Is it controllable by therapy seats, or lying?

Are all regions of the body covered with jet?

Are specific options such as jets, waterfall, aromatherapy, light therapy, music available?

The spa has a filter system. How efficient is this? How much water is being filtered?

The water is filtered for 24 hours to make sure that the water is always pure and clear?

How quiet is this 24 pump?

Can you replace the filter from above?

Is an ozonator for water treatment here?

What will you get in terms of water treatment?

Is the delivery and commissioning included in the price?

Is a professional integration into the existing garden area available?

What are the electrical specifications? If the connection is made by an electrician?

Are the components are tested and provided with a warranty?

How long the manufacturer has been in business?

What parts and labor will be covered by the warranty of the seller and for how long?

How long the dealer has been in business?

Is there a suburb competent repair service and ministry?
And finally, for which provider should I choose?

There are many companies selling these days, and although the spa offers a healthy competitive market, there may be more uncomfortable uninformed customers who will easily  buy from any vendor. Many companies are selling spas these days by the way, and therefore, they have the most information and service deficits. Even more risky are purchases or "running offers" in the well-known Internet auction houses. Not infrequently, these vendors have their headquarters abroad and problems are very difficult to solve, respectively due to access to the courts. We do not recommend buying these cheap "lucky bags" from the internet.
Gather references, be sure to work with the provider which partners and try to get recommendations from friends or customers to have the selected firm and the product in contact.

Counseling, presentation, selection, price, delivery dates, partners, service, warranties, and your gut feeling in line are nothing in the way of a spa.

In this sense, we hope to see you soon.

It warmly welcomes you and your spa center.

Gravel properly prepared for the aquarium

picture of aquariums.
As substrate, virtually any gravel or sand from the hardware store can be used because the gravel and sand from the aquarium trade is also nothing else. No matter how one relates of the gravel, it must be washed even if on the package it is already washed. This is especially observed in the gravel in the pet trade case. Washing the soil substrate is still somewhat expensive and requires a lot of time especially if you wash >50kg aquarium gravel or sand. Therefore, it is a must for aquariums from about 200 liters. It is best suited for the soil substrate as a bricklayer tub (grout trough) wash, which is obtained at the hardware store from 5 euros. Of course, it can all make buckets summarize the approximately 15 liters, but it comes with a masonry trough a lot faster because in one run, it is more like gravel or sand clean.

The vessel with which you want to clean the ground floor is filled with only the best with much gravel that you later get when the vessel is filled with water. You should stir it well. It makes no sense to make it full because the more it is then the substrate should be stirred and the water becomes dirty faster and you may need to wash 2 times to change the water which is also again more effort. So, less is often more. When the right amount of sand or gravel is in the tank now, then you can fill it with water and then stir vigorously. The sand is clean and you can tell because when you cut out a small sample and then into a glass of clean water, they are then allowed to clear the muddy water which is no longer really something but not too much. After it has recently been stirred and then you can do without it. If it is clean enough and one has been agitated the sand, then you should empty the majority of the dirty water immediately before the dirt particles settle on the sand again. Then you can remove the remaining sand / gravel with a sand box strainer for children from the jar and rinse again briefly. The whole effort is very important because one should have very clean sand and gravel in the aquarium. One in advance, does not know what sand or gravel has everything on themselves, such as germs, toxins, pollen, and others. It is however important that the sand should not be washed at home or in the house because even the individual grains of sand or gravel can accumulate in the drain to a partial blockage or even cause complete blockage.

Ways to Found a MLM Business

There are various ways to establish a business or an industry. Here are the most important ones explained briefly in order for you to get an idea about the possibilities. Think carefully, do your research and find the way that suits you best. It is up to you to choose one of the different types of founding.

The founding of a new industry

Here you have everything in hand. You can build up your own name and use your creativity. You have to spend very much time and effort to get customers. There are no prejudices among customers but also no positive experiences. The curiosity of people is great and you have to use it to your advantage. In this case, it depends on how the customer responds to your idea.

The acquisition of a business

The acquisition of a business gives you the advantage of not having to build a reputation as your MLM business already has one. The customer base and the partnerships have already been initiated. It is much easier to buy a business because there are many aspects that you do not have to waste any more time with. It is important to ask exactly what the business is based on, whether it is popular among customers and what its financial situation is. You may have to pay quite some money if all these things are positive. Not only the products but also the customers, the position on the market and the partnerships have to be taken into considered.

Involvement in a company
image of mlm.
You can get involved in as many companies as you want. This kind of independence is targeted mainly by people with money. You may be able to offer the company something it needs like MLM training and thus make your involvement count. The reputation has already been built, the business runs and you also have a customer base at your disposal.

Additional income through self-employment

Many people want to take up a second job or build a business outside of their everyday job. This way, you always have a job no matter what happens. You can learn and analyze everything in peace and you can earn your living if the business generates some profit. It all depends on how serious you are.

Franchising

The founding of a trade can bring many problems with it, so franchising is one of the best solutions for you. Probably paradoxically, franchises offer you many opportunities to become independent:
You take over the business idea of a franchise dealer, practice and attend it regularly. Your corporate design options are moving within a fixed frame.

Develop your own franchise system. The business idea has already proven successful, so all you have to do is to put it in practice. Then you can convince other people to follow your example and so on.

As a master franchisor, you get a license from foreign franchise companies that want to establish themselves on the American market. So you enter the national market as a franchisor and you acquire additional franchises on your own account.

The franchise process is centered on the franchisor, the trademark, the know-how and marketing. These are the main poles of developing a franchise. You get all the information and the tips against a fee. Of course, this limits your creativity and initiative.

E-business

This form of independence is unique. You have the possibility to choose any of the aforementioned types of business foundation, but you still choose this one? Then, you are probably doing this because you can choose whatever profession you want. This topic is very extensive, so it should be discussed separately. There are a lot of articles on the internet about how to build an e-business.

These are only the most important ways to fund a business. Spin-off funding, liberal professions, cooperation, multilevel marketing and business transfers are some of your other alternatives. Each form has its pros and cons. Therefore, you have all the motivation you need to choose self-employment.

Know Anatomy the Thymus

Synonym: Sweetbread

Definition

The thymus is a single pair of lymphoid organs located in the front part of the mediastinum. Thus, it is located above the heart and behind the sternum. The thymus is on both sides of the pleura. Usually, it develops from the third pharyngeal pouch. It is called the primary lymphoid organ because it is responsible for the primary development of T cells.

Structure and function

image of anatomy.
This organ has two asymmetric flaps, which are connected through connective tissue. The size of the thymus is dependent on age. It reaches its maximum size in childhood and weighs 30 g. The involution begins after puberty, when it is replaced by fat tissue. In adults, the thymus has an average weight of 18 g. This is often referred to as the retrosternal fat pad.
The thymus is situated in a cell-rich crust and can be viewed through a microscope. There are the typical Hassall's corpuscles of the thymus, which are an onion-like enrichment of epithelial cells (surface cells). Their function is not yet clear. In contrast, the cortex contains thymocytes. Therefore, the thymus is the only lymphoid organ that is also called a lymphoepithelial organ.

The thymus plays an important role in the development and differentiation of immune cells, called T cells. It is a kind of training ground for these cells. Immature cells that are formed in the bone marrow migrate into the thymus through the blood vessels. There they turn into thymocytes. Then they migrate through the cortex after several divisions of the thymic mark. This way they mature and develop T-cell receptors, which allow them to recognize antigens. There can be a negative selection and a positive one in the maturation process, depending on whether the antigens involved are endogenous or exogenous. First there is a positive selection. In this case, only those cells develop that have a so-called peptides receptor, but do not strongly bind to the MHC molecules. Then there is a negative selection, which ensures that the T-cell structures do not attack the body's own cells (self-tolerance). All cells that do not meet criteria die by programmed cell death (apoptosis). Just 5-10% of all T cells survive the maturation process. Only these cells reach the lymphoid organs and then colonize. Besides functioning as an immune organ, the thymus also acts as a hormone. The mediators it produces - thymosin, thymic and thymopoetin - influence the maturation of immune cells in the lymphoid organs.

Thymectomy

In children, the surgical removal of the thymus (thymectomy) causes impairment in the development of the immune system. However, this is the best way to eliminate the symptoms of myasthenia gravis. This is an autoimmune reaction against receptors on the motor plate of the muscles that leads to progressive muscle weakness. About half of patients with myasthenia gravis present an enlargement of the thymus, which is usually a thymoma (usually a benign tumor). Therefore, the autoimmune reaction is amplified as tumor cells have antigens similar to the muscle receptors. Therefore, patients can be relieved of the essential complaints through the surgical removal of the thymus.

The DiGeorge syndrome

The DiGeorge syndrome refers to an impaired development of the third and fourth pharyngeal pouches, which are normally formed during the embryonic development. The thymus is formed mainly from the third pharyngeal pouch, so an under-development of this organ can even cause the absence of the thymus. Other structures can also be affected, such as the parathyroid glands, teeth or throat muscles. The reduced or lack of training for T-cell patients leads to more or less severe immune defects. The most frequently encountered are heart defects, short stature and a general developmental disorder. The goal of therapy is a reduced exposure of patients to potentially immunostimulatory microorganisms. Therefore, hand disinfection and even face masks are important measures, as well as a well-developed vaccination schedule supplemented by antibiotic therapy. In principle, patients can also have a T-cell transfer, in which case the compatibility of HLA molecules is crucial (endogenous antigens on the white blood cells), otherwise the body may reject them. Therefore, normally, doctors use the cells of siblings with an identical HLA structure to perform this kind of procedures.

More information on anatomy lessons is available on the internet.

Golf A Sport for Rich People

Golf is increasingly popular and playing golf has become much more accessible, as well as the equipment necessary to practice it.

Play golf with the right golf clubs

The clubs are the main pieces of equipment in golf as they help you to adapt to different situations on the fairway. There are three types of clubs for three broad categories of strokes. The long shots require wood clubs numbered 1 to 9. The higher the number, the stronger is the stroke. High shots require iron clubs numbered 10 (pitching wedge) and 11 (sand wedge). These are used mainly to get out of the bunker or for shots to the green. Finally, the putter is a unique golf club set used on the green for the final stroke toward the hole. Be aware that a golfer can use all their golf clubs during a game. Golf reveals itself as a truly strategic game because the player can select a maximum of 14 clubs depending on the physiognomy of the course and the way of playing. As a beginner, you can buy a basic golf pack that costs about 300 USD and includes four irons and woods and a putter. Each of your clubs is numbered. You can also rent junior golf equipment on the site but it would be better to buy your own clubs if you are not a very good golfer.

image of golf club.
Clothing and golf accessories are very important

There are various other accessories you need to play golf apart from the golf bag. First of all, you need several clubs to succeed different shots throughout the course and, of course, you need a bag to carry all these clubs. You can always rent a cart in order not to carry your equipment around walking as the course is about 6,000 m-7,000 m long. You can also choose an electric cart, in which case your efforts are concentrated in the beatings. Golf is a game of patience. Usually, the 18-hole course requires many hours of play. The bag is intended not only for the carrying of the clubs, but also for the storage of objects the player usually needs to be comfortable - bottled water, light food, warm clothing in case of windy conditions, raincoats and umbrellas for bad weather, etc. - and that of necessary accessories such as balls, the tee or the divot.

Golf is also about image

Finally, golf has its dress code and an image of prestige to defend despite its extension. There may be no strict golf attire, but there are still certain aspects related to clothing golfers should pay attention to before stepping on the tee. The typical golfer is dressed in a polo shirt with a V-neck vest and simple sport pants because they are comfortable and the risk of being too cold or too hot is very low. The golfer must also invest in shoes because they may affect the stroke and even damage the golf course. The so-called "soft spike shoes" are recommended. Finally, you should not forget about the glove. The right-handed should wear the glove on the left hand, while the left-handed should wear it on the right one.

Golf is an outdoor sport, but technological advances offer people the opportunity to play golf in the city, inside cabins with a surface of just 30 square meters with a giant touch screen that allows for lifelike simulation. The game is played in 3D mode, so you hit real balls with your real clubs. If you live in the United States of America, you can try your swing on an indoor golf course. This is perfect for practice before playing on a traditional golf course.

Finally, you must also purchase a license each season in order to be allowed to play golf even as an amateur (apart from the accessories). Now you are ready to test the course.

Proper storage of coffee

Taste and aroma of coffee have natural enemies to fight with: light, oxygen and time . The less time is gone, the more aromatic is the taste of coffee. Light and oxygen can destroy more than 1,500 different components, the unique flavor of each type of coffee may disappear. To the coffee aroma, at least a chance must be given. There are some rules that should be considered:

Always buy whole beans and grind only the amount that is being required. The extra sleeve of a coffee bean is used as natural protection against light and oxygen and thus obtain the aroma.

The packaging open only when they will actually consume.

The bag is opened, remaining beans are possible, preferably, these must be stored in airtight containers, such as in a coffee can and not in the fridge . At low temperatures, you can fall to the flavor. In addition, coffee is a magnet, attracting odor smells from the environment to ail. Coffee, therefore, must never be stored with strong-smelling spices such as garlic. Garlic makes the taste of coffee pretty disgusting!

Avoid Debt: Credit Agreements

The "Living on credit" motto now appears to be quite frequently encountered in the some households. However, the use of credit also carries certain risks. You will always have difficulties if you spend more than you earn. You should calculate your revenue and expenditure before taking a loan. Take advantage of the many consumer advice opportunities available today in order to manage the money in your household properly. Do you have trouble with your bank? You can get help with this, too. Is your income very low? Then look into the potential claims you can file in an attempt to obtain state benefits such as housing benefits, supplemental benefits, child benefit supplements, etc.

Credit agreements

The Civil Code contains special provisions for consumer loans to protect consumers from usury better and to strengthen their rights. These regulations shall apply to financial assistance of any kind between a business as a lender and a consumer as a borrower. The only exceptions are loans and hire purchase transactions that amount less than 200 EUR and payment deferrals of up to three months. The main provisions are summarized below:

The loan agreement:

image of debt.
must be in writing,

must meet certain minimum information such as the net loan amount, interest rate and all other costs included and the manner of repayment of the loan,

must specify the annual percentage rate, which can be compared to different loan offers,

is void if the written form is not filled in or lacks any required information.
An agreement enters into vigor when a loan is taken. In that case, consumers can revoke their agreement within two weeks but only in certain conditions.

Exception: Real estate loan agreements may not give the consumer the right to cancellation and may also determine them to make a payment within two weeks. Such an agreement is invalid if you signed the loan agreement in a so-called doorstep, like your private home or workplace.

Real estate loan agreements are accompanied by a purchase agreement if the loan was taken to purchase a property and the lender is also the seller or if the lender and the seller work together so closely that both agreements represent an economically unified business. In such a case, your right of cancellation applies to both agreements, so beware.

The loan repayment:

will be expensive for the borrowers if they come in arrears with the installments because they have to pay additional interest. Consult a debt relief guide if you find yourself in a tight situation.

The lender may accept part payments (the first part amounts to the cost of collection and then to the debt and only then the interest is deducted from the payments).

The loan termination by the lender is only possible if:
borrowers with two consecutive payments are wholly or partly in arrears;

these residues account for at least 10% of the total credit (with maturities of at least 5%) over three years and
the defaulting borrowers previously set a payment deadline of two weeks and were threatened with termination in case of non-payment.

Diabetes type 1 can cause weight loss, malaise, tormenting thirst, frequent urination, faster and deeper breathing, changes in acid-base balance, the development of a diabetic coma with loss of consciousness without prompt treatment within weeks.

The onset of type 2 diabetes usually progresses slowly and, initially, may be completely free of symptoms. Other symptoms such as increased thirst, malaise, increased susceptibility to infection, itching, fatigue and dizziness are often misinterpreted. Nevertheless, already consequential damages to the heart, kidneys, eyes and nerves have been formed at this time. In particular, the monitoring of the well being of patients is vital after this.

Gestational diabetes generally causes no symptoms and can therefore be easily overlooked. Nevertheless, it must be treated because it can lead to pregnancy complications.

Ophthalmic controls

Fundus photography as, screening method,  is well suited. It is an exclusive photograph of the retina but does not provide reliable assessment of the peripheral retina sections.
An examination of the eyes should be done once a year to determine if there is no retinopathy. This is made by an ophthalmologist.

Exceptions are:
1. Children before 11 Age should be examined only after a diabetes duration of five years.

2. Pregnant women should then be immediately examined upon detection of pregnancy. If it is discovered during pregnancy, the ophthalmologist will decide on the intervals.

3. Diabetes type 2 affected people should be examined immediately upon detection of the disease.

4. Before and after scheduled treatments, all patients must be examined quickly by an ophthalmologist.
This complete eye examination includes the first review of visual acuity. After the enlargement of the pupil with drops the lens and the vitreous and retina are examined (ophthalmoscopy). In certain indications, such as in certain diseases of the retina (retinopathy) and the point of sharpest vision (diabetic maculopathy), the injection of fluorescent solutions in the vessels of the retina (fluorescein angiography) for the investigation may be necessary.

If a diabetic eye disease is diagnosed, you have to review and strengthen the treatment of diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, the increased blood sugar and dyslipidemia.
